Getting started

Rivan onboarding takes about 10 minutes. You'll connect your support inbox, your approval channel, and your knowledge base.

1. Create your company

Sign up at app.rivan.ai. The first user becomes the Owner and can invite teammates with admin or member roles.

2. Add your Anthropic API key

Settings → AI Config. Paste your Anthropic API key and pick a model. Use Test connection to confirm it works. Your key is encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM) and never exposed to the agent's tools.

3. Connect Crisp

Settings → Integrations → Crisp. Provide your Crisp Website ID and plugin token, then add the webhook URL shown for your company to your Crisp app. Rivan verifies inbound webhooks with HMAC and ignores anything unsigned.

4. Connect Slack (approvals)

Install the Rivan Slack app and pick the channel where approval requests should land. Reviewers approve, edit, or reject proposed replies with one click.

5. Add knowledge

Settings → Knowledge Base. Paste help-doc content or FAQs. Rivan chunks and embeds them so replies are grounded in your actual documentation.

6. Test drive

The final onboarding step asks you to send a test ticket. Rivan analyses it live and shows you the proposed reply. Approve it in test mode (it won't be sent to the merchant) to finish onboarding.

You're live. New tickets now flow through Rivan automatically.
